Free Breakfast & Lunch Beginning Tuesday September 8, breakfast and lunch is FREE to all Belfield Public School students enrolled in school or on our hybrid learning plan. The USDA has granted a waiver extension for free meals until May 27, 2021. This means ALL students in Belfield Public School will receive free breakfasts and lunches until May 27 2021, regardless of their free/reduced status. It does not include students that are in distance learning or homeschooled students.
**Monday and Wednesday are band days
**Tuesday, Thursday and Friday are choir days
We will be having a first annual bowling night/tournament on May 17th at 6:30 pm. If you are interested in coming, there will be a sign-up in Mr. Geiger's room. Everyone attending must ride the bus to go bowling. The chapter will pay for any member for that night, which includes shoes and 2 hours of bowling.
The best overall scores will receive a prize, among other FFA related door prizes.
Deadline to sign-up is May 12th.
Bring a Friend to Choir Day!!
is Thursday, May 13 for students from grades 7-11. If you would like to attend, you need to talk to Mrs. Klein or be invited by a choir member by May 6.
3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
South Heart Public School FBLA Chapter is hosting a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament for grades 3-5 and grades 6-8 (both divisions are co-ed) on Saturday, May 15th @ 8:00am on the outdoor courts at the South Heart Public School. (alternate location is the South Heart School gym if the weather does not cooperate) Limited teams! Sign up fast ...first come, first serve. Team entry form and checks made out to South Heart Public School and must be received by Friday, May 7th to secure your spot. Team entry forms can be picked up in the Belfield School office. Player help needed for Friday May 7th at noon and Saturday May 8th at noon.
Mr. Wigert and Coach Maynard are looking for players to help clean out the garage behind the press box in Belfield. Please let Mr. Wigert or Coach Maynard know by Thursday if you can help. The more athletes that sign up for this, the faster the project will get done.

Volunteering can make a huge impact ... on scholarships, resumes, and even your mental health. The Belfield Movie Theater is looking for volunteers on the weekends. When volunteering, you get a free movie, drink, and popcorn. Your duties would include running concessions, cleanup with a leaf blower, and occasionally mopping up spills. get signed up for our 2021 Cougar Football Summer Camps and weight lifting!!!! Cougar football is offering camps and training to our Cougar athletes to improve their skill development strength/conditioning and to have better knowledge of the game of football for the future. Stop by the Belfield HS office for a registration form.

American Legion Auxiliary Flickertail Girls State (North Dakota) has the green light to have an in-person program in June!!
ND American Legion Auxiliary Flickertail Girls State is coming up June 13-18th at the UND campus. Any ND girl (or ND Auxiliary Junior member living out of state) that will be completing their junior year OR senior year in high school is encouraged to attend. Seniors are being allowed to attend as the program was canceled last year due to COVID. The registration deadline has been extended to May 15th. Please visit www.ndgirlsstate.org for more information or to download the registration form. *There will be some COVID-19 procedures in place during the week and staters will be required to sign a COVID-19 waiver form for insurance purposes*
The cost is covered by the local American Legion Auxiliary Unit 144. Chartered Bus transportation is available from Dickinson and is also paid for by the Unit.
